Holiday season!
May was a particularly busy month socially. Firstly, it was a holiday to wales.... a well needed break and my first full week off in over 3 years! yes 3! It was amazing, but me being me, i took my nail kit. i couldn't leave it a home now could i? Especially when 2 of the girls had NEVER had gel polish and one of them had Never even had her nails done. As you can imagine i had to treat them and show them the world of nails. So technically i suppose i never actually had a full week off haha.
As the year goes on, all my friends are starting to celebrate their 30th birthdays.... Scary. i keep trying to tell myself my 30th is a whole year away (yeah right who am i kidding, with August being just around the corner.). So during May we celebrated one of my awesome friends birthdays - 'Monkey' Mike. Again even at this event my nail kit went with, this time to remove the holiday nails of newbie to nails Jacqui. I know what you're all thinking..... this girl needs to get a life and to some degree you are probably right. Like i say I'm nail obsessed i really am.
Holiday season is well and truly upon us now. Many of my clients are jetting off all around the world (I'm clearly not jealous, MUCH). So over the last few weeks the most popular nails are ones topped with the amazing mermaid glitter. This glitter i get from Nail Gaga and i am in absolute love with it, its so amazing and gives a lovely shimmer of what you imagine a mermaids tail to be like. With mermaids in mind, one of todays sets of acrylic i have done is for a lovely lady who is an amazing makeup artist, you must check her out.
She off to DISNEY for her holidays and wanted mermaid inspired nails and this is the results. I enjoyed doing these nails so much! hope she loves them as much as i enjoyed creating them.
